Wasfago: is a healthcare application created to improve the way patients manage their prescriptions and access medical support. Many people face challenges such as forgetting doses, misunderstanding instructions, or struggling to keep track of multiple treatments. Wasfago addresses these problems by providing an intuitive, user-friendly platform that makes medication management simple, reliable, and stress-free. The design process focused on building trust through clarity, accessibility, and smooth user flows, ensuring that both patients and healthcare providers benefit from a more connected experience.
1. Discover – Understanding the Problem
The project started by identifying the common struggles patients face when managing prescriptions and accessing healthcare guidance. Through research and user interviews, we found that many users experienced confusion, delays, and lack of clarity in medication management.
Key Insight: Patients need a reliable, simple, and supportive tool that improves their healthcare journey by making prescriptions more accessible and understandable.
2. Ideate – Mapping Solutions for Health Support
With clear insights, we began brainstorming possible solutions. Wireframes explored how patients could easily track prescriptions, set reminders, and connect with providers. Team discussions focused on designing an experience that balances clarity, trust, and ease of use.
Decision: We chose to focus on a simplified, intuitive app structure that highlights essential health information without overwhelming the user.
3. Design –Visualizing Wasfago’s Care Experience
Using Figma, we translated ideas into high-fidelity UI designs. The design emphasized clean layouts, calm color palettes, and easy navigation to build trust and reduce patient anxiety. Consistent icons and typography ensured accessibility for users across all age groups.
Prototype: Interactive prototypes demonstrated key flows like prescription management, reminders, and healthcare provider interactions.
4. Test & Refine – Ensuring Safety, Clarity & Usability
To validate the design, we conducted usability tests with patients. Feedback highlighted the need for clearer call-to-action buttons and better spacing in certain sections.
Final Adjustments: Improved navigation, refined typography for readability, and ensured responsive design across mobile devices to guarantee accessibility.
5. Deliver – Bringing Wasfago to Patients & Providers
The final handoff included the complete design system, UI assets, and developer documentation. Mockups showed real-world scenarios, such as patients receiving timely reminders or easily viewing prescriptions. Collaboration with developers ensured smooth implementation.
Conclusion
Wasfago transformed the way patients interact with healthcare by simplifying prescription management and strengthening trust in digital care. By focusing on usability and clarity, the app empowers patients to take control of their health, leading to improved outcomes and a more supportive healthcare experience that reduced onboarding time by 25% and improved user satisfaction.
